Creation of a visual identity for the traditional Japanese restaurant Kiwamiya ramen in Boulogne, south-west of Paris.
The project was directly inspired by traditional Japanese cultural aesthetics, both in terms of colour and direct references to the Rising Sun. 
The monogram is a "K" built with a semi-circle, also a reference to the noodles used in ramen, a speciality of the chef at this Japanese restaurant. 
This monogram is the result of a mix of inspirations, giving rise to a minimalist and modern monogram that can be adapted to all types of media, from web to print.
Finally, this monogram can also be used in a variety of formats to enhance brand identity thanks to its geometric shape. The logotype can also be replaced by an illustrated pictogram in the shape of a ramen bowl built around the monogram, creating a pattern for multiple wrapping applications.
